Making House Hunters In East London

I’ve worked on two episodes of House Hunters International this year and the first episode airs on 21 August 2013 on HGTV across USA and Canada.  I’m currently in Madrid and sadly it’s not available here or in the UK, so I will have to wait patiently for my DVD.  I’d love to hear your comments if you get to see it.

The show is a light entertainment mix of travel and property search.   In this episode, Commuting Conundrum in London, I help Kurtis and Kathleen Badger find a rental property to the east of the capital for a $1900 budget.  The conundrum is that Kurt’s place of study is Chelmsford and Kathleen’s place of work is central London, so I narrowed my search down to properties along the commuter rail route out from Liverpool Street.  Inevitably prices are higher as you search closer to central London, but season tickets from Chelmsford add to the cost of living further out.  You’ll have to see the programme to find out what happens…..  Here is the HGTV website link:

We had great fun making the show.  Kurtis & Kathleen and all the crew where fantastic.  Look out for another episode that I worked on in Surrey which will air later this year.  There is so much interest in Property TV in the USA, I’d love to get more involved.
