Richard Blanco studied theatre at Lancaster and Leeds Universities and trained as a dancer at the Laban Centre in London. He began his career as a performance artist and arts entrepreneur. After setting up and directing Greenwich Dance in the former Greenwich Town Hall in London, he moved into HR training and consultancy, specialising in diversity. Richard started buying property in 2003 and has built a portfolio across six London boroughs. He was London Representative for the National Residential Landlords Association for 14 years, organising and speaking at events across the capital. Richard is an experienced broadcaster. He has produced and presented 27 episodes of ‘Inside Property’ on Share Radio and has presented 56 episodes of the NRLA Podcast ‘Listen Up Landlords.’ He regularly appears on USA TV show House Hunters International, broadcast globally through Discovery and has clocked up 76 episodes. He writes for a number of UK publications such as ‘Property Investor News’ and comments on housing matters in the press. He has appeared on mainstream UK broadcast channels such as BBC, Sky, ITV, Channel 4 and radio stations like LBC, Times Radio and Talk TV/Radio over 500 times.
